Who needs a man around?

Today I overcame the fear of what lives in my drain. I'll save you the gruesome details and just tell you that the furry swamp creature no longer makes a residence in my bathroom sink.

What irritates me most about my camera (Canon EOS digital Rebel XT) is the crummy lens. 55mm is just not cutting it. I really wanted to get down in there so you could see the empty void which is the newly cleaned drain (bet you're pretty stoked I didn't have a before shot). Roomie thought I called a plumber. She was impressed.

Perhaps I could spend some time reading the user's manual, or maybe one of the many photography books gather dust on my bookshelf?
