A Day In The Big Smoke!

Been to the big smoke today primarily to go to the Ghana High Commission to sort my visa out for my forthcoming trip... It was all a bit stressful firstly trying to find the place and then it looked like I'd missed it as they should have closed at 1pm and it was then 1.20! Managed to blag myself a slot explaining the urgency, cost of getting there and distance travelled... Then got to the front I'd forgotten to get the money to pay for the visa... D'oh!! So mad dash ensued up the street to the nearest hole in the wall!

Once all sorted I hopped on the tube over to Leicester Square for a recovery drink at the Häagen Dazs Cafe!!! One Baileys Expresso suitably consumed... perfect aid to relaxation!

I then went for a wander through Trafalgar Square and over to Covent Garden before heading back to Euston and onwards home back to Northamptonshire.

Now to get rid of all the evidence of drunken debauchery and wild parties before the lovely R arrives home on Saturday... I'm a terrible liar!!!
