Power cut

It was only on our side of the road, but we thought it wasn't safe to use the chair lift, so Mum got ready to sleep downstairs tucked up in her duvet in a chair. The head torch was so she could read her novel and I thought she just looked a picture.

The power came on later and she went to bed as normal using the chair life to power her up the stairs. It was only the following day that Owen said, " but the chair life has a battery so you can use it in a power cut ..."
