Hope Scholars

SAEP doesn't have a camera at the moment, so I've happily been filling in whenever photos have to be taken. In addition to the ADT cataloguing going on this week, we need to get profile pictures for all of the Hope Scholars (like my program, there are also two cohorts of Hope Scholars now, Grades 9 and 10). A lot of our learners aren't used to getting their pictures taken so just give blank expressions during portraits, but this girl was having trouble holding back her smile. Other than substitute teaching a few times, I haven't had much experience with the Hope Scholars program, which is coordinated by my friend Bongani (and previously Lindsey too), but these kids are our best and brightest in the high schools, not to mention the cutest.
