THE GANGES MEANDERING THROUGH THE GHARWAL HIMALAYA
The gharwal Himalayas is one of the ranges of the Himalayas and is also known locally as the "Dev Bhumi" meaning the abode of God.On this range are the four pillars of hindu pilgrimage namely Gangotri Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Ganges originates from the glacier Goumukh at gangotri and then flows down the Himalayas until it comes to the plain at hardwar also in Gharwal in the Uttarkhand state.
The photograph is about this ganges flowing down the undulating path of the gharwal himalayas on its way to Hardwar. The sight is pristine and it only tells us that nature is the ultimate artist.
