Lupine
I was out early with my hiking group to train on the Rim Trail at the Lafayette Reservoir. We started on the two-hour hike just as the sun was coming up. These lupines were growing beside the trail midway up the hardest hill, the one we call Goliath. This blip was a good reason to stop and catch my breath.
