Horticultural Help Needed

TGL won me this beautiful plant at a Wedding Fayre in Tenterden yesterday. My phone camera does not do justice to its beauty.

It looks familiar, and I think it can be planted out, but can anyone tell me what it is and whether it is indeed hardy enough to plant out?

Any advice/suggestions gratefully received.
