What a tail (tale!)

After the events of yesterday I spent all this morning waiting for 'phone calls in response to 3 calls that I made. I wanted to know:
where my car was located
was I insured for it to be held in Police custody!
who was going to transport it to a garage near my home
when was it going to arrive.
I didn't think this was much to ask but I waited and waited and......................eventually I actually spoke to a young man who was helpful, spoke sense and resolved the whole affair in minutes...............I think!! The car is now supposed to be at my local garage ( haven't heard yet!) and I've stopped chasing my tail and Chester has stopped chasing his!!
Definitely a glass of wine is required tonight - if only to prepare me for the diagnosis and the repair charges. Help!!
