Volcano eruption

Had to snap one photo of the evening news last night on TV. This is our main story now. We have a volcano eruption in Eyjafjallajökull actually on a very popular hiking route.

This is not so far from my town and when we first heard about it in the middle of the night I have to admit I was rather scared. There is nothing that we can do when mother nature starts doing her own thing and we feel quite small compared to it.

Ashes is falling down but not in large amount...... Yet.

We are just hoping that the glacier next to this one will keep on sleeping. If it goes off too it might become really serious. So fingers crossed
