Lake Ontario Ocean

Today was so windy that there were actual swells and waves and spray on the lake. The waves were even strong enough to make booming sounds as they swept up on the rocky breakwater. I tried to pretend I was at the ocean -- I love the ocean.

Mr. Togrrl and I went furniture shopping and then treated ourselves to a walk and birdwatch.

I spent an hour watching Mad Max with my son - I can't tell you how much of a treat it is for me to spend any kind of time with my teenager - he's usually hidden away in his room.

And now the last couple of hours of the weekend - always too short. But that's because it's so much fun.
