Not so much Easter bonnets.......

........ as Spring Equinox bonnets. Not quite such a catchy title, though.

Another gathering of the witches and their pals. We had a great night at Alison's, where she made her famous moussaka. This is not so much about how brilliant it is (which it is), but its history.

Alison very foolishly decided to make this once for her 2 boys when they were still in school. It was a Monday night, and she only started making it about 6p.m., not realising that it is more than a little time consuming. To help the process along, she kept drinking red wine. Her 2 boys kept appearing in the kitchen to steal cereal, as they were starving..... when it was finally finished, the boys did not want to know, and Alison threw a bit of a hissy fit because they didn't appreciate her...... it all ended in tears. I think her exact words to the boys were "I may as well go out and bury it in the garden".

Fortunately, last night ended with happy tums and daft photos.

And yet, I do have a lit candle on top of my hat.

It got a bit warm....
