Tri-D XIX DAY ONE

Today was day one of our two day congress. We were the host school this time. Our theme was Hollywood. Seven other schools came for a weekend of food, fun, and debate. Herricks, Hewlett, Lawrence, Long Beach, New Rochelle, Oceanside, and East Meadow.

It was a lot of hectic work setting up all the decorations and committee rooms. But it looked absolutely amazing when we finished. (this is kelley holding the baloons for set up) Everyone had to dress real pretty this night. It was a quite successful night of debate and eating (lots of pizza). Shipped everyone off around 8:30 to go to their housing. 5 out of the 7 schools stay overnight in some of the host schools houses. It sounds weird but its really not so bad. You're with around 10 different people and its like a huge sleepover.

I mastered walking in heels! That made me happy cause i was afraid i was gunna trip during Opening Ceremonies while I was walking up to the stage. (And matthew i completely forgive you for calling me fat publicly and saying something strange about explicit picture taking in front of 200 people so don't even worry!) =]

Then I partied it up afterwards ;). I'm a fan of duct tape.

PS this is a backblip. I got home really late friday night, and then saturday night i got home around 11 and collapsed. So now its Sunday and i'm putting them up! =]
