This is a canal lock in Beeston.

Went out for a little jaunt on the " Yellow Peril " and happened upon a delightful little cafe by the side of the A49.
The lock was in sight of the cafe , so further investigaton was warranted.
There just happened to be a narrowboat in the lock, so I gave assistance with the gates. There is a first for everthing.
