Crocus

Even 6 inches of snow can't defeat crocus, emerging from the last patch of snow in the front yard. This photo bear resemblance to their native habitat of throuhout Europe and into Asia. I have seen white Crocus vernus gracing a patch of turf at the base of a snow patch in the Swiss Alps.
