Ally Pally

We took a trip to Alexandra Palace today. Neither of us had been before and to be honest there wasn't an awful lot to see in the actual building. At one end is a rather worn looking ice rink and at the other, a pub. There seems to be so much space inside creating so much potential for new projects yet I think it's been like this for years. There were a few posters up talking about future plans which looked promising.

We walked through the park directly in front of the palace and around a small boating lake behind it where we stopped for some lunch and lapped up the sunshine for an hour or so. There was also a skating park & graffiti wall for the big kids and a small playground for the littler ones.
