A Bridge on the River Kwai

I write a bridge, because no such thing as The Bridge on the River Kwai exists. The movie by that name was largely fictitious and only loosely based on actual events. This bridge on the river Kwae Yai, that has become the bridge for tourism, is, however, really part of the infamous Death Railway that was build by POW's during WWII. Over 100.000 people lost their lives during the building of the railway.
