Sheep at Ullinish

Arrived at Ullinish on the Isle of Skye after a 5 hour trip from Port Appin. We were staying at the fabulous Ullinish Lodge Hotel. This place is the best kept secret in Scotland. Amazing scenery, lovely rooms and the food is unbelievably good.

We went out for a quick explore of the local area before it got dark. While walking up the single-track road back to the hotel we came across a group of sheep standing in the road. They set off at a quick trot and I noticed this sheep which had become separated from the group. I framed it against the darkening sky and stopped down to catch it in silhouette.
