I nipped into Guildford this afternoon, partly because I had something to take back to a shop, but also because another Rock Choir was performing in a church on the high street and I wanted to go and support my friend who was singing - and I was quite curious to see what it sounded like to be in the audience rather than singing (I belong to a different Rock Choir). It actually sounded very impressive. However, I suspect the audience was mostly made up of family and friends of those singing, plus others like me from different choirs who were equally curious. I must admit that I really enjoy the weekly sessions, but I'm not sure about the performances - who, apart from family and friends, would choose to listen? Not many, I suspect.
