Orchid Blooming... Finally!

I have waited all winter for this little fellow to bloom. I think that all of the cloudy days that we had this winter interfered with his blooming cycle. Well, it was worth the wait, for sure.
I've been thinking about the effect that flowers have had on my life. They make me happy. It's that simple.
Each one is a miracle. I think that God was extra happy the day He created flowers, and they are His Gift to us to make our lives a little more cheerful... and sometimes more bearable.
No matter what my mood, I will feel better after spending some time in my garden. Everything is put into perspective. I just love flowers!
P.S.... I do my best digging when I'm mad!
