A thousand new paths

First day of spring

Had a good chat with G about Scotland this morning and then we went out for a late lunch. It's the first day of spring but a bit of a rainy day here. The cherry tree on our road is showing signs of life though which is great.
We went to the Roman road for pie and mash which I have blipped before. Today, though, we also had fruit pies for pudding. This is my cherry pie. Really yummy.
Back home in the warm now. I'm glad it's spring but it doesn't really feel like it today!

A preoccupation with the future not only prevents us from seeing the present as it is but often prompts us to rearrange the past. Eric Hoffer
