left the cocoon of home and holiday and stepped out in to the real world

feel like there was someone standing outside waiting to chuck a bucket of cold water over my head

entered work at 9am. said brief hellos. shut self in darkened room with computer for company until 6.15 with brief outings to eat (on my own). i am not sure i should feel sorry for myself as it is probably a result of not doing enough back in June when August deadlines are never going to arrive.

so this is pretty much the only view i had all day

kids excited about heading off for granny and grandpa's
