Girls Night Out...

They Love me...the quirky ARTIST that is me!!!

The good, no, great news....My girlfriend who is bravely battling the evil that is cancer, was concerned when she found a lump near her stomach. She has bravely stood up against this thing, with a positive attitude and moving forward with every treatment presented to her. Well, she found out that it is a hernia, caused from her last surgery, wheeeeww!!! Never thought that you would celebrate a hernia, but then again, who would have thought that she was given until March 2010 to live??? Also her lymph nodes have decreased in size (YEAH) and the enlarged two, haven't grown. So amongst the things we discussed last night (this is a backblip), this paled the other bad news, and it is amazing how trivial irritants become less important. Celebrating the fact that we are all still together...laughing about our misadventures, joys and pains, our kids choices, our husbands struggles with weight, our own battles, eyesight, mid-age pudge (what is up with that?), pets, jobs, upcoming birthdays, vacations, blipfoto (yep, I may have a convert), and really silly stuff...you know what I am talking about, GIRLS!!! :D It was a GREAT night!!!
