That was the first reaction Emma gave me when she saw this picture. It is an impression from a person?s left ear. This is used to make a hearing aid shell by a hearing aid manufacture. The manufacture scans the mold and prints this out with a laser.

Next week I will post a sample of this print out of a hearing aid shell.
