Waxing or Waining

I know this picture isn't much in the way of a picture. But as I was looking at it I remembered playing a road game with my kids.

We would be out driving at night and I would look at the moon and ask one of them, "Is the moon waxing or waining? They would have to look at it and figure out if the moon is getting brighter or dimmer.

By the way, about 15 years ago Kodak printed a book called, The Art of Seeing. Basically it said if you like it print it and enjoy it. You are the only one who has to like it.
