Cocktail

Today Missy Ann had her surgery. The above shot is of the "Happy Juice" she got prior to going into the OR. It sure relaxed her and she was much calmer before they rolled her down the hall.

It's all over now and we're home. She is resting comfortably on the couch and I am trying not to be a helicopter, hovering over her and constantly asking if there is anything she wants or needs.

She has the neatest contraption to keep her foot chilled to suppress swelling. It's like the coolers they use on beer kegs where the beer flows through the cooler only and the keg itself stays warm. There's a boot that she wears that has chilled water pumped through it all the time.
