Abalone

I was out in the garden today and spotted some Abalone shells that I had in a pot & thought they would make a nice blip.

I gave them a very quick wash & then set them up for a macro photograph.

I find the colours of the shells mesmerising. All this beauty from a little unassuming sea snail.
