La Ricetta

There is great significance to this wonderful piece of paper.
My dad and I met my mom at Bar Annie tonight to have a lovely dinner before Mom's surgery in the morning. It was spectacular. They seriously have the best filet mignon (non-Kobe) that I have ever ordered in a restaurant.
My dinner in a nutshell:
Blackberry Mojito
Seared Foie Gras with Salted Aromatic Honey & Celery Almond Salad
Wood Grilled Filet Mignon with Tarragon Bearnaise, Potato & Asparagus Cake
Caramel Custard with Coconut Broth & Fresh Pineapple
with a delicious bottle of Barbaresco.

I love that my family knows how to eat well. It's a blessing and a curse really.
