What Lurks Beneath

This honeybee and stripy fly have no idea what's going on below them. They were very lucky not to suffer the same fate as the bumblebee's.

The flower is garlic chives.

Edit: Barking has rightly pointed out that the front insect is a fly, not a honeybee. It is a drone, Eristalis tenax.
