Black Tie

Sadly, tomorrow I will be attending my third funeral in as many weeks. Tomorrow we will be saying goodbye to our friend and colleague, Kerr Duncan, who died suddenly last Sunday from an infection he contracted in hospital after an emergency operation.

Just now, more than ever, I am reminded of my own mortality and of the fact that I should live my life as fully as I can.
