Bottom Rung Of The Property Ladder

We have a flat full of stuff, and I live with three women and a single toilet/bathroom. A garage might sort this; move lots of stuff into the garage (paint, tools, spare chairs, tents, etc) then we can turn the cupboard in the hall into a wet room and have no toilet queues.

This garage is 100m from our flat, and I went to see it this morning. I'm the fourth to see it. Its a bit unpromising but with a bit of work, could be OK. Its only the second one for sale in 8 years, so difficult decision about how hard to go on it.

But just try getting a quote on insuring the place, or finding out about getting electricity in (currently some red and black wiring, no meter - what's that all about?)

Narrowly missed not having to worry about money ever again last night; just 2 numbers off the £2.9m jackpot. £120 is nice but wont pay for this.
