Rodents rule

Our new friend

Omar arrived last night and made a nest for herself amongst the ivy. This morning I found her in the same place and offered her a breakfast of watercress and cucumber slices. She hissed at me and withdrew into her shell, but she soon poked out her head again and watched me as I put the guinea pigs out to grass. I hope she's found a sunny spot in the garden since there's no sign of her by the ivy tonight. It's lovely to have her here to visit for a time.

A busy day at work, but I had a wander through the park in the lunchtime sun. It was packed again with people sunning themselves. I didn't even bring a jacket with me to work - hooray for warmer weather.
