268 [stop start]
The temperature in Perth today was 26C, but unfortunately that was in Western Australia. I was in Perth, Scotland, where the temperature was a cooler 10C.
The journey was a bit stop-start with five or six different sets of road works (each way). The drive home included a stop at Bankfoot for lunch, and to use their car park facilities while I joined a conference call. It was at that point that I realised that the Vauxhall Zafira may be a large car, but it's also a small, awkward sized office.
Near Slochd on the A9, one lane was closed for some maintenance which involved two men abseiling on the rock-face at the side of the road. That looked like a fun job!
Returned to the office to the good news that a colleague is recovering well after a kidney replacement a few weeks ago. She's likely to be off for the next three months, but well on the mend!
