Blinded by Science?

mmm... I don't think so.

I was on the Confocal microscope at work today, locked in a dark room. Multiple big old computer screens, whirring fans, dials with lights and switches for lasers which can only be turned with a key. Feels a bit how i'd imagine piloting a 60's space rocket.
