High Stile

My first 'proper' heavy hike with my camera gear. For this picture to be made meant me climbing uphill for over 2 hours with just under 15 kg of gear in my rucksack. I had a rough idea of what to expect when reaching the summit as I had seen an image taken by another photography from around the same location. Though it was not my intention to 'copy' another photographers image but merely to gauge a better understanding of the environment to that I can compose something unique to my own tastes.
