Has Spring sprung?

Well, not quite. As I walked along the Glennifer Braes there was a fair amount of gorse in flower. Gorse does flower a bit during the winter, however I don't remember seeing so much. This was the most colourful part of the walk on a day which had started out with blue skies, but I could see the skies start to darken in anticipation of the rain to come.
