Facing South at St Kentigern's

Today I had a request for a photo that included the Southern Cross, or as it's also known, the constellation of Crux.

Not knowing if I had any handy straight off the bat (although I'm pretty sure I do) I thought I'd whizz down the road to the church and take a few photos.

The Southern Cross can just be seen on this, hiding between the 'U 'in the trees on the right hand side of the image. It's a bit lost with the wide angle lens - I knew I should have taken the 35mm f/1.4 down with me!
