Holiday!!

Katie started the day at school. She was there until 130 when we got packed up in the car. We have come for a wee trip to Center Parcs. It's both our first times here. From the second we turned off the road, the magic of Center Parcs had entranced her - the snow covered signs and Christmas lights at the turning, the rather brilliant Santa Claus that greeted the children waiting in cars with chocolate. My godbabies waiting at the villa. They had an amazing playtime while everyone else arrived. She was loving it!

When everyone had settled (there's 17 of us!) we got the kids bundled up in the bike trailers and headed off to the swimming pool. The children loved the beautiful Christmas lights everywhere. Katie couldn't believe her eyes. I took max on one of the slides and Katie stayed with Chris. Lauren told me later that when she got in the pool, Katie ran up to her with the biggest of beams on her face- "Aunty Lauren, Looooook!!!!!" She tried the rapids, lots of times. And very quickly was swimming it herself. She absolutely loved the outside swimming pool. Her, lauren, edie and I had a go on the flume in the dinghies. Katie thought it was brilliant.

We had a nice meal out before we went to the play area at the bowling alley. Aunty Lauren and I packed the children up in the bikes again and all headed back to our villas. Katie had a chat to grandad and decided to sleep in the top bunk in our room, holding into the rail of the bed!
