Busy Day
I spent most of the day cutting up a sheet of MDF into pieces for a radiator cover that our daughter wants for her dining room.
The radiator in question is in a part of the room that is going to be used as a play area by our granddaughter - the idea is to keep the hot metal away from small hands!
It took me a while to mark up the sheet, then find all my power tools in the garage. I spent most of the day outside - apart from a brief stop for lunch (which coincided with a brief shower of rain)!
All the major cutting is done so now I need to smooth of the edges and drill some holes for fixings. Some trellis to be fitted and a coat of primer, then off to Doncaster to fix it up and gloss paint it!
I still have all my fingers so that is a bonus - although if I had chopped one off I don't think I would have noticed as it was so cold.
Didn't get our dog walk until after dark and so the two of them were sporting their flashing red LED collars. They are supposed to be a safety item, but at this time of year they do look rather festive!
