Watching the unfolding events during the siege in Sydney today and devastated to hear that two of the hostages lost their lives, with one being the mother of three young children. Senseless and heartbreaking.

Spent tonight at a school party at a shuffleboard club ... sort of like training for old age when you are stuck on a cruise ship. Gin and tonic helped my sporting prowess and general enthusiasm for the 'sport' ... but might also explain why the photo is a little blurry.
