Timely Trio

We had breakfast with Phil's daughter E (see here) mid-morning today, the last of our very pleasant family get-togethers this weekend.

Both E and her sister S do a lovely job of decorating their homes for Christmas, and I enjoyed soaking up the festive atmosphere in both places. Today's mild, sunny weather was perfect for trying the three-images-on-one-jpg option available on my Olympus E-M10, and this crimson amaryllis made an ideal subject.

Our journey home on the BoltBus was the most pleasant one yet, thanks to the mild, sunny weather, and once we were back in our car, we did a quick shop at the co-op to tide us over the next few days. They will be busy ones, with end-of-year appointments, get-togethers with friends, a holiday party, and more.
