BlipaEwan 81...
This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.
Since the wee spate of issues with the work at school, Ewan has been doing phenomenally well. He really has worked at dealing with his school work at school really well and hasn’t had any of the issues he was having with distraction.
Ewan was at the rugby the other week and the regular coach had to call in sick. Bethany and I were in the kitchen when they asked if anyone wanted to help out with coaching. I’d already expressed interest in helping out on the field and had started taking notes on what they get up to. I’m now going to be Ewan’s new coach in the new year.
His sister has been on play dates all the time but Ewan hasn’t been on all that many. An incident happened which didn’t bother him that much, but did bother us enough to realise that we could organise more play date type things for him. For the last couple of weeks we’ve been swapping Beaver and preBeaver dinner duties with one of his friends, James. tomorrow we’ll pick James up from school with Ewan to give them both dinner before taking them to Beavers.
Smudge (our christmas Elf on the Shelf) has made a re-appearance this advent. As far as we’re aware, both Ewan and his sister are still believers. The letters we need to answer should nail it for at least this year.
