Blip Hop 1.000
SteinJ ft $Jay
Dear friends! It's just past midnight, and I find my self in a hotel room in the village of Cantoria, Almería, Spain, with its 3.956 inhabitants. True to tradition, I wanted to do something special for my round figured blipday. I had hoped to be in a more convenient place, with plenty of time, space and light to set up the photo, but one of our clients had other plans for me (I probably should not complain). In other words, I've had to make the most of the rather constraining conditions.
I have to apologise for my lack of comments and responses in recent weeks, but I can assure you that it’s not a reflection of lack of interest and appreciation. I have to thank all of your for the wonderful support I have received over the last 999 days, and not at least those of you who have been following my journal in recent times without any response from my side. All of this is simply due to a very intense period at work.
Now, it feels really good to have reached 1.000 blips, without missing a beat, and once again my dear Blip Godfather, Barrioboy, a huge thank you for introducing my to this fantastic community. I am still very enthusiastic about blip and photography, and my only regret is not to have more time do produce better work and be more involved. This is of course something most of us are struggling with.
As said, I wanted this to be a special blip, and what could be more special than featuring my twin brother, $Jay, or "1.000 Cents" among friends. $ never misses an opportunity to be in the spotlight, so he wanted to share a few insightful words with us on this memorable occasion:
"Here me now! You is probably thinking what do $Jay now bout anything but hip hop, rap, house, babes, booties, parties, custom Rollers and Bentleys, fashion and a few things more you now what I're talking bout. Dis ain't through, me now much more tan you think. Me gotta run now, dat reception cutie is waiting, butt hair are my advise to me brotha SteinJ an all is blipping friends: If you work ass ard for you blip ass me for me dollars, dis word wood be a better place for we all!"
