The beach trip.

This end of year period has been really busy. I've been burned out from work and run ragged at home as the kids get antsy winding down their final weeks at school before the holidays.

I was lucky to be able to take a couple of days off work to go with Marley on his school trips. We went to the Christmas Grotto on one trip, and on another we had a day at the beach. The water was freezing, and painfully so, but after we got out for a minute and went back in it wasn't so bad.

Marley found a terrific stick on the beach and he had to show it to me, so I quickly snapped this pic as he held it up.
