Buttercups and Snowy Mountains

It has been a stunningly beautiful day here in Central Otago.  21 walkers headed to The Blue Pools, (an hour's drive),  and we walked from there to the Leven River, (1 1/2 hrs walk), where we had our lunch in the Beech Forest in the shade by the River.  Two walkers headed down the Makarora River fishing as they went.  No fish stories to tell.  The rest of us walked back to the cars, and stopped at the Makarora Café for cool drinks or ice creams.    I'm home now with my feet up.
