She still stands

Spent the day with friends today and we stopped at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ. This is park is directly across from New York City, with a perfect vantage point to see where the World Trade Center towers used to be, and to see the New Freedom Tower which has been built on the site. Incredibly moving, and comforting, to see the Statue of Liberty still there.
