Drama in the Sky
I was tidying up after fitting a new light at the back of the house when Mrs W noticed the dramatic sky. I ran for my camera and took three photos and this is the only one that looked as dramatic as we had originally seen because but the time I had taken the third shot, the light had gone and the drama was over. Just goes to show how little time there is sometimes to capture the moment and even on this occasion I had missed the best off the colour in the sky.
In relation to the light, I felt a great sense of satisfaction on getting it up as everything seemed to be going against me. There were no fixings for the light when it arrived so I went to a major DIY outlet to buy the necessary stuff and, to make a neat job of things, I bought a junction box to locate the connection between cables. When I got home, I discovered that the box did not have the screws needed to seal it to maker it weatherproof. Problem was that I didn’t have the time to get back to exchange the item so I have had to improvise and use bits from other electrical fittings to complete the job. I needed to get the light today up to make sure that there is light later in the day when our patio is being laid this week.
