Candlelit Carols

We are lucky to live near a city where there is so much lovely music going on. This weekend there were 2 carol concerts by 2 different choirs in the same church (St Martin's). Rob went to the one last night, and I went to tonight's. The one I went to was completely candlelit which made it extra magical. The choir were Sarum Voices, and they performed Britten's Ceremony of Carols (with a harpist) in the first half, followed by a selection of carols and readings in the second. It was beautiful and uplifting. I'm glad I went.
