Perfect Fit

Bringing home the tree. I had to drive because Jon would not have fit behind the wheel. Getting a tree wasn't as easy as we thought it would be today. It used to be such a fun family outing to a Christmas Tree Farm - cut down the tree, have a little hot chocolate or warm cider and check all the way home that it was still attached to the car. As Sumner and Logan got older, they grumbled a little, but we always managed to get them in the spirit. Now it's just Jon and I and Logan and his girlfriend will help decorate it when he gets home. Well, today we went to two of our favorite farms and they were "Closed For The Season". But it's only the 14th??? We called another and he was "Sold Out"! So we bought a pre-cut one and managed to get it IN the car too. I can hear the needles dropping as I type this (not really) but it's perfectly shaped and probably had a long trek south from Canada. Now to get Jon to string the lights!
