Christmas jumpers (365 mono #114)

It was Christmas Jumper Day today in aid of Save the Children. I didn't have long to set this up before getting the kids to school, but I managed to make a terrible job of it. The items on the windowsill were perfectly in focus, but the kids weren't at all.

I made this look a little better by using a high pass filter to sharpen the boys and adding Gaussian blur to the rest of the image.

A prime example as to why photography shouldn't be a rushed job!
