Rescued tree

I believe that this tree is indigenous to SA but it has been such a long time since we bought it we have no idea of its name.

A couple of years ago it seemed that we had lost it after it was struck by lightening. However, the magical skills of Soul took a little cutting of what was left and this new tree is almost as tall as me.

Apologies for it being a little blurry but the branches bouncing in the breeze made it hard to get a decent shot.

It's been a great day spent in the wild east, doing some work on wee Mags garden before picking up Liz and heading out for lunch.
